Law Minister Ashwani Kumar and Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal were both forced to quit -Friday May 10,2013

Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal who took over in October 2012 was the first Congressman to hold the key portfolio in 17 years

With the departure of Pawan Kumar Bansal(Railway Minister) and Ashwani Kumar(Law Minister) from the Ministry, there are now 8 vacancies, 3 of them in the Cabinet: in March 2013, the DMK withdrew from theGovt and its Cabinet Minister — M.K. Alagiri(Chemicals and Fertilizers) — and five MoSs left
