This
was an arranged marriage for Shahid and Mira and the ceremony was
attended by 40 guests. Mumbai-based Shahid arrived in Delhi yesterday
while his parents were in the city before to oversee the wedding
preparations.
The
wedding celebrations started last evening with a sangeet ceremony,
where Shahid was seen matching steps with Mira on his hit wedding song
"Saj Dhaj ke" from "Mausam", directed by his father.
A
dinner is being hosted at a five-star hotel tonight in which about 250
guests have been invited. This will be followed by a reception in Mumbai
on July 12, for which there will be a separate invite - also designed
by Delhi-based card maker Ravish Kapoor, who worked on the wedding
invite.
Shahid took Twitter to post an adorable picture with his beautiful wife and simply commented 'hitched'.
