Chief minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the state's longest flyover on Bailey Road in Patna.
The 2.9-km flyover from Jagdeo Path Mor to Sheikhpura Mor has been constructed at a cost of Rs 300 crore.

The flyover would spell instant respite for a population of five to six lakh, which lives in western Patna and faced frequent jams.

The flyover has parking lots for four-wheelers and two-wheelers under
it, which is open for use by public on payment of Rs 20 and Rs 5
respectively for every three hours.
Commercial vehicles won't be allowed to ply on the flyover so as to ensure smooth flow of passenger vehicles on it.
