Five fielders will be allowed outside the 30-yard circle in the last 10 overs of an innings and there will be Free Hits for all no-balls.

India and Zimbabwe have met 57 times in ODIs, with India winning 45 and Zimbabwe 10. There have been two tied matches between the teams.

Zimbabwe Squad for the 3-Match ODI Series Against India

Zimbabwe have announced a slew of changes in their One-Day International squad, which was named for the first of three games against India on Wednesday (July 8).

The selection panel, led by Givemore Makoni, left out Charles Coventry, Craig Ervine, Roy Kaia, Tawanda Mupariwa and Christopher Mpofu, and drafted in Donald Tiripano, Neville Madziva, Malcolm Waller and Regis Chakabva in the 15-member squad.

Tiripano, Madziva and Waller played their last ODIs in 2014, while Chakabva was a part of the 2015 World Cup squad but was dropped for the 3-match ODI series in Pakistan in May 2015, which Zimbabwe lost 2-0.

India must win all three one-day internationals (ODIs) against Zimbabwe to retain their second place in the ODI rankings

Second-ranked India (115 points) lead 11th-ranked Zimbabwe (44) by 71 ratings, making them the overwhelming favourites to win the 3-Match ODI series 3-0

A 3-0 win for India will help them maintain their second ranked position with 115 points

A 2-1 win for India will see them drop two points but maintain their second spot, and a 1-2 loss will mean India surrender four points and go down to fourth.

A 3-0 win for Zimbabwe will help them jump to 52 points, overtaking Ireland to the 10th spot, with India sliding to the fifth spot with 109.
