2015 Wimbledon Women's Singles Final Serena Williams beats Garbine Muguruza to lift the title Saturday July 11,2015

Serena Williams beat Spain's Garbine Muguruza to win Wimbledon for the sixth time and complete the 'Serena Slam' as the holder of all four major titles. 
 
The 33-year-old American won 6-4 6-4 on Centre Court to claim her 21st Grand Slam title and third of 2015.
 
 
 
The Wimbledon triumph completed a second ‘Serena Slam’ — four successive
Majors, beginning with the 2014 US Open
*The previous one was bookended by the 2002 French Open and the 2003 Australian Open
*Maureen Connolly, Margaret Court, Martina Navratilova and Steffi Graf are the other women to simultaneously hold four Majors.
*At the US Open, Serena will have a shot at the Grand Slam — winning all fourMajors in a calendar year, a feat accomplished by Connolly (1953), Court (1970) and Graf (1988).
*The win was Serena’s 21st Major title. Only Court (24) and Graf (22) have more.
*At 33 years and 286 days, Serena is the oldest winner of a Major. Navratilova(33 years, 263 days) held the previous record.
