Maureen Connolly(USA)-First Ever woman player to win Calendar Grand Slam Title

 
Maureen Catherine Connolly Brinker (September 17, 1934 – June 21, 1969) known as "Little Mo", was an American Tennis Player, the winner of 9 Grand Slam Singles Titles in the early 1950s.

 In 1953, Maureen Connolly became the first woman to win all 4 Grand Slam Tournaments -Australian Open,French Open,Wimbledon and US Open during the same calendar year.

In 1954, a horseback riding accident injured her right leg and ended her competitive tennis career at age 19.
