Local trains have been affected with 20 minute delays in western and central services
Between 8 pm and 7 am, the city has received 25.93 mm rain, eastern suburbs have received 37.11 mm rainfall while Western suburbs have received 40.95 mm rains.
Western down line between Palghar and Poisar has been shut. No train services will be operational on the line for 2 hours. Services from Bandra were also affected due to waterlogging but they have been brought back to normal.
The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in Mumbai over the next 24 hours
