Sachin Tendulkar Equals Sunil Gavaskar's First-Class Record
On Day 3 Friday Feb 8,2013 of the Irani Cup at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai against Rest of India, Sachin Tendulkar scored
his 81st century in first-class cricket and thereby equalling him with Sunil Gavaskar, for most first-class tons posted
by an Indian.
This was Sachin Tendulkar's second ton in the Irani Cup and the first ton was scored when he was barely 16-years old, against Delhi
In the process of his century in Mumbai, Sachin also totalled 25,000 runs in first-class cricket.
