Aero India 2013, the five-day bi-annual military and aerospace spectacle, began at the Yelahanka Air Force Station on Wednesday Feb 6,2013,Defence minister A. K. Antony inaugurated the aero show which commended with a coordinated fly-past of helicopters carrying the flags of the three Services
Around 25 countries - 650 domestic and foreign aerospace manufacturers are taking part in the event.
About 55 static and flying aircraft from different countries will beckon aviation enthusiasts at the Aero India 2013 to be held at the Yelahanka Air Force Station from February 6 to 10,2013
However, the number of aircraft participating in this year’s show has come down. About 90 aircraft participated in the Aero India 2011
Aero India 2013 is the 9th edition of the Air Show conducted from Feb 6 to Feb 10 at Bangalore, India. Aero India is a biennial air show and aviation exhibition held in Bangalore, India at the Yelahanka Air Force Station. The Air show is organized by Defence Exhibition Organisation, the Ministry of Defence. Aircraft from various countries and defence industries take part in this air show and display their skills and models to their prospective buyers and general public.
