Surya Namaskar is completed by performing 12 asanas

Surya Namaskar is completed by performing 12 asanas, starting from Pranamasana and ending at the same

It is a blend of highly efficient postures like Hasta Uttanasana (Raised arm posture), Padahastasana (Hand-to-foot posture), Ashwa Sanchalanasana (Equestrian posture), Parvatasana (Mountain posture) and Ashtanga Namaskara (Salutation with eight limbs)

It works on your muscles, arms, shoulders, thighs, butts, back, stomach and lower abdomen. Each posture caters to multiple body parts and is especially considered to strengthen the core.

Surya Namaskar makes a great cardio-vascular exercise but did you know that it tones your muscles at the same time? The stretch during the asanas, stretch your muscles and you won't have to do dumbles to get rid of flabby skin.

Especially positions like plank and lunges will strengthen the core system as well as tighten that extra skin.

The sun salutation not just helps tone muscles but also prevents and cures blood pressure and palpitations.

It is one such workout which is a combination of different asanas that help give you strength mental and physical.
