The Jaipur International Airport has been declared the best airport in the Asia-Pacific region by the Airports Council International (ACI) for 2015.
The authorities will receive the award at the ASQ Awards Ceremony scheduled to take place in April in Australia.
The ASQ Survey covers 34 key service areas and includes eight major categories such as access, check-in, security, airport facilities, food and beverage, retail and more.
Allowing the airport to get an independent perspective on performance and identifying the areas of opportunity, Jaipur did not get any position last year.
Notably, it is for the first time that the Jaipur airport has got a position in the survey ranking.
Meanwhile, New Delhi Airport has also got the top rank in the MPPA category of Asia-Pacific region
