Google Inc has tipped its hat to Bangladesh’s 45th Independence Day on its home page by creating the red and green from the national flag, and a bridge in the second 'O'.
Google put up the doodle on the Bangladesh page (http://www.google.com.bd) at the stroke of midnight on Saturday March 26,2016The mouseover text on the artistic version of the Google logo reads 'Bangladesh Independence Day' in both English and Bangla.
The Google doodle is the logo above the search box on the homepage.
The world’s most valuable company changes its doodle to mark special international events or days, or anniversaries of important personalities.
The US internet giant also marked the day in 2013 by depicting a child waving the national flag with his father (hoisting a bigger flag) and mother, with the trio set against a green background.
In 2014, it portrayed a Royal Bengal Tiger in a red circle signifying the sun and river wrapped with green font.
