Women's Kabaddi World Cup


India has won the first women's Kabaddi World Cup championship, beating Iran 25-19 in a thrilling game played at the Patlipura sports complex on Sunday March 4,2012 in Patna,Bihar,India.

 

Earlier, India beat Japan 60-21 while Iran defeated Thailand 46-26 in the semifinals to reach the final.

  
Kabaddi World Cup(Men's)

The Kabaddi World Cup was first played in 2004 and then in 2007 and 2010. So far India is the unbeaten champion in Kabaddi World Cup.Iran is the next most successful nation being thrice runner-up.
