The Louvre in Paris was the most visited art museum in 2011.(8.9 Million visited)
New York's Metropolitan Museum Of Art was the second most visited venue,
British Museum,London in third place
National Gallery,London in fourth place and
Tate Modern,London in fifth place respectively.
The Louvre has topped the annual list since it began in 2007
