The Countries Worst Affected By Terrorism

Though the world saw a 13 per cent decrease in the number of terrorism-related deaths between 2015 and 2016, a total of 25,673 deaths due to terrorism still presents a grim picture. 

Worse, countries in a state of conflict experience the highest economic impact from terrorism. 

The economic cost of terrorism equated to a crippling 24 % of Iraq's GDP last year followed by Afghanistan with losses equaling 13 % of GDP.
