Forty-six-old Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is all set to become the second Chief Minister of residual Andhra Pradesh after steering his YSRCP in the direction of a landslide victory.
At 2 p.m., YSRCP is leading in 145 of the 175 seats in Andhra Pradesh Assembly leaving just about 25 for TDP and five to other parties including Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena party.
The two national parties, Congress and BJP were nowhere in the scene.

The TDP won the 2014 Assembly Elections with a comfortable majority of 102 seats, while YSRCP won 67. In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, united Andhra which had a total of 42 seats, saw TDP win 16, TRS 11, YSRCP 9, BJP 3, and Congress 2.
