Mumbai’s 603 went on to be the highest score registered by a team in a losing cause in Indian soil.

Brabourne Stadium witnessed a classic on Thursday  March 10,2016 as Rest of India (ROI) defeated Mumbai to lift the Irani Trophy 2015-16 in a cliash that will be remembered for a long time. Who would thought that Mumbai would end up in losing side after posting a mammoth 603 in the first innings, and worse they bowled out their oppositions for 306.

ROI not only registered the 10th-highest successful chase in the history of First-Class cricket but also the third-highest on Indian soil.
