2016 ICC World Twenty 20 in India March 08 to April 03,2016 - England team Profile

England surprised everyone when they outplayed Australia in the final to win the 2010 T20 World Cup in the West Indies

Under Andy Flower’s reign as head coach, despite having an inexperienced T20 side, England were brilliant throughout the tournament and Kevin Pietersen’s batting and an all-round performance helped them clinch their biggest achievement in limited-overs cricket.

After the win in 2010, England have performed consistently in Test cricket but their form in the ODIs and T20Is has not been very impressive

The England lost to Bangladesh by 15 Runs in the first round in the 2015 World Cup was shocking and after the change in administration, the team has improved a lot under the captaincy of Eoin Morgan in the ODIs and T20Is.

Joe Root has been the most consistent batsman for England in last few years and he is one player who adds class and strength to the English batting lineup

Alex Hales(scored England's fastest one-day international century in November 2015 o lead his team to an 84-run win over Pakistan and a 3-1 series victory) Eoin Morgan and Jos Buttler - all are big hitters

Ben Stokes (scored a double hundred in just 163 balls to break Ian Botham's record of scoring the fastest double ton for England.)and Moeen Ali - quality all-rounders

England Squad
Eoin Morgan (c), Moeen Ali, Sam Billings, Jos Buttler (wk), Liam Dawson, Alex Hales, Chris Jordan, Liam Plunkett, Adil Rashid, Joe Root, Jason Roy, Ben Stokes, Reece Topley, James Vince, David Wille
