Shashi Kapoor receives Dadasaheb Phalke Award Sunday May 10,2015

 
Bollywood big wigs and Kapoor family were in attendance at the Prithvi Theatres as actor Shashi Kapoor was conferred the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award.

Union minister Arun Jaitley conferred the prestigious award to the veteran actor in a ceremony which saw Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor speaking about his career

Shashi Kapoor was welcomed at the steps of Prithvi Theatre by his nephew, actor Rishi Kapoor, elder son Kunal Kapoor and actress Nafisa Ali

Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar and Shyam Benegal were also present. 

Shashi Kapoor's daughter Sanjana was seen welcoming guests including Amitabh Bachchan.

All heroines of Shashi Kapoor posed with the actor post the award ceremony.
