All-rounder Liam Livingstone hit one of the highest ever one-day
scores with a 350 from just 138 balls for Nantwich in a National Club
Championship match against Caldy.
The 21-year-old smashed 34 fours and 27 sixes during his superb knock, which the ECB claims is a world record.
Liam Livingstone is on Lancashire's professional staff but is yet to play a first-team match.
The ECB claimed Livingstone's score was a world record for the highest score in any form of one-day cricket.
The previous world record was held by Indian batsman Nikhilesh Surendran, 15, who made 334 not out in an inter-school fixture in Hyderbad.
With Liam Livingstone's contribution, Nantwich went on to score 579-7 and then bowled out Caldy for 79 to win by 500 runs.
It is not the first big score for Livingstone, who made 204 off 242 balls in Lancashire's final second XI game last season against Yorkshire's second XI.
However, the right-handed batsman had no time to celebrate his score on Sunday.
He said: "Unfortunately I have got training with Lancashire at 10 o'clock in the morning, so I will be having an early night.
"But sometime in the near future, I will definitely be having a few drinks to celebrate."
