Top Tamil Film Hits Released in 2010

Enthiran  எந்திரன் Robot is a  Tamil Science fiction film co-written and directed by S Shankar. The film features Superstar Rajnikanth in Dual Roles, as a Professor and an Android Robot.Aishwarya Rai play the leading for Superstar Rajnikanth and Danny Play as the Villain while Santhanam and Karunas play the comedy part.The film's background score and soundtrack was composed byA R Rahman which released as an album on 31 July 2010.

Produced by Kalanidhi Maran of Sun Pictures, it became India's most expensive film(budget estimates Rs132 Crores)The film released worldwide on 1 October 2010, along with its dubbed versions: Robot in Hindi and Robo in Telegu.
The film enjoyed positive critical acclaim and commercial success across the globe collecting an estimated Rs179 Crores.

Singam சிங்கம் The Lion is  directed by Hari, starring Surya and Anushkha Shetty in the lead.
The film, produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja in association with Reliance Big Pictures and distributed by Sun Pictures, was released on 28 May 2010.Made with a budget of around 25 crores, the film earned more than 3 times,that is, 75 crores

Paiyaa பையா  Boy is a  romantic action film written and directed by N Lingusamy.
It stars Karthi and Tamannah in the lead roles.The film released on 2 April 2010 emerged a high commercial success and to positive reviews.The film made with a budget of about 15 crores earned twice,that is, it collected more than 30 crores


Boss Engira Bhaskaran பாஸ் என்கிற பாஸ்கரன் Bhaskaran alias Boss is a romantic comedy film written and directed by M Rajesh.The lead casts are Arya and Nayanthara and Santhanam.
 The film released on 10 September 2010 to highly positive reviews and also became commercially very successful

Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa Will you Cross the Skies and Come?விண்ணைத்தாண்டி வருவாயா is a romantic film written and directed by Gautham Menon with Simbu and Trisha playing the lead roles.The film became the first Tamil project to have a music soundtrack premiere outside of India, with a successful launch at the BAFTA in London.
The film released on 26 February 2010, along with the Telugu version received positive reviews, with several critics giving the film "classic" status, whilst also become a commercially successful venture.Made with a budgeted 15 crores the film earned more than twice,that is,  30 crores
