Superstar Rajnikanth had suffered from exhaustion on April 29, the first day of the shoot of his latest venture 'Raana', and was admitted to the Isabel Hospital in Chennai.He was discharged the same day only to be readmitted there on May 4 for allergic bronchitis and viral fever.On May 13, he was admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre for respiratory infection and other problems.
On May 29 Rajinikanth was flown to Singapore from Chennai for treatment and was admitted to intensive care unit of the city-state's Mount Elizabeth Hospital
Rajinikanth is seen coming out of the hospital(15.06.2011) completely recovered and will be rest in the coming days and will return to India in July 2011

Superstar Rajinikanth ,an ardent devotee of Lord Venkateswara, was accompanied by his wife Latha, daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya and sons-in-law Danush and Ashwin besides Telugu film star Mohan Babu offered prayers at the famous Hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala today October 19,2011 as a thanksgiving visit after recovering from ailment recently.The superstar weighed himself in Kalakund (sweet) inside the temple as part of the rituals.
