Novak Djokovic replaced Rafael Nadal as the top ranked player in the
latest men's Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) world singles
rankings released on Monday Nov 05,2018
Nadal has now slipped to No.2 while Roger Federer, who lost to Djokovic in the semi-finals on Saturday Nov 03,2018 is no.3
Djokovic had already became No.1 after Nadal decided to skip the Paris Masters due to abdominal problems.
The Serb however, lost in the final of the tournament on Sunday Nov 04,2018 to Russia's Karen Khachanov, who jumped seven places to World No. 11 after winning the title.
Romania's Simona Halep on the other hand, continued to lead the Women's Tennis Association ( WTA) rankings with 6,921 points, followed by Germany's Angelique Kerber.
