The Indian Cricket Team led by Virat Kohli is scheduled to play 3 T20's;4 Test Matches and 3 ODI's during Nov 21 - Jan 18,2019
BCCI announced their 12-man team for the opening match on the tour of Australia with no place for Manish Pandey, Shreyas Iyer, Washington Sundar and Umesh Yadav. India have employed this strategy of revealing a 12-man squad a day prior to a game starting from series against West Indies and have continued that in Australia.
The team will be led by Virat Kohli who had sat out the T20s with Windies in order to rest himself for the two month tour of Australia which will see India play three T20Is, four Tests and three ODIs and culminates on January 18, 2019. Rohit Sharma is the vice-captain with Rishabh Pant the wicket-keeper ahead of Dinesh Karthik. DK had donned the gloves in the series against Windies but is also in line to play in Brisbane.
