The New Skoda Superb is priced at Rs 22.68 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai) and will be available with both a petrol and diesel engine.
The new Skoda Superb gets a sharper design that looks modern, current and much sportier than ever before.
The new car, in line with Skoda's new design language, the new Skoda Superb too gets a butterfly grille up front and on either side of it are the Bi-Xenon headlights with Daytime Running Lights.
In profile and at the back too the edgy design continues well with LED tail lamps and 17-inch wheels wrapping the car up nicely.
On the insides, the Skoda Superb gets an all-new feature laden interior and more space than before.
The extra space is because of the fact that the new Superb is based on the new Volkswagen MQB platform, which ensures maximum utilization of the car's wheelbase. Of course, things like leather seats and a touchscreen infotainment system come as standard.
On the engines front, the Skoda Superb gets both petrol (TSI) and diesel (TDI) units. The 1.8-litre TSI unit makes power of 180PS and torque of 320Nm for the manual gearbox version.
The automatic variant will have the same engine mated to a 6-speed DSG box and will come with 180PS of peak power and 250Nm of peak torque.
The diesel on the other hand makes 177PS and 350Nm from a 2.0-litre mill. Where the petrol gets both a manual and an automatic gearbox, the diesel will only get the 6-speed DSG automatic option.
