Donald Trump got his first major endorsement in the Republican race for president on Friday Feb 26,2016

Jersey Governor Chris Christie joined Trump at a press conference in
Forth Worth, Texas where he threw his support behind the front-runner.
The
announcement managed to silence much of the talk surrounding Marco
Rubio after his strong performance during Thursday night's debate, at
which he and Ted Cruz joined forces to successfully go after Trump.
