After a wait of more than two years, Apple has finally taken its first foray into the world of wearables with the unveiling of the Apple Watch
After a wait of more than two years, Apple has finally taken its first foray into the world of wearables with the unveiling of the Apple Watch.

The watch will be available from early 2015 and prices start at $349. The straps are interchangeable, and the faces are customisable (pictured). The watch also understands questions in messages, and offers pre-selected answers, and messages can be dictated to the iPhone through the watch
The rectangular wristwatch was unveiled alongside two new, larger iPhone handsets, and a new mobile payment system called Apple Pay.

The iPhone 6 has a 4.7-inch screen, curved edges and will be available in dark black and gold, while the iPhone 6 Plus has a 5.5-inch screen and 185 per cent more pixels than the 5S.
Following the announcement, Mr Schiller said the iPhone 5C will now be available for free on a two-year contract, and the iPhone 5S will start at $99. Apple did not reveal which network operators would sell the phones

The watch has a completely new user interface, different from the iPhone, and the 'crown' on the Apple Watch is a dial called the 'digital crown.'
Users can turn the crown to zoom in and out on a map, or scroll through a list. The crown can also be pressed to take the user back to the home screen.
The watch works 'seamlessly' with the iPhone 5C, 5S as well as the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, and it lets users dictate messages via a microphone on the device.
Its screen is a touchscreen, but it also senses force, and can tell the difference between 'a tap and a press.' For example, pressing down will recognise as a right click.
All the electronics are packed onto a tiny board, sealed up to protect against water.
The Apple Watch comes in three finishes - Apple Watch, which comes in silver, the Apple Watch Sport and the Apple Watch Edition, which will be available in 18-karat gold.
The wearable will be available from early 2015 and prices start at $349
There are two sizes of the watch, dubbed male and female versions, with matching smaller straps and finishes.
Other features include Glances, which shows information users would like to see, similar to Google Now.

The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus will start shipping in the US on September 19, with advance orders to begin this Friday (September 12). The new iPhones will come to India on October 17,2014

On Tuesday September 9, 2014 Apple made giant strides into the technology market with the release of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. And one more thing.... the Apple Watch.

1. Apple Watch will start at $349 and will be available early next year. It works with iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, 6, and 6 Plus.
2. The Apple Watch sports a flat screen with sapphire glass and has a ‘digital crown’ with a twisting control that lets the user scroll through different functions
3. The watch has a gyroscope and an accelerometer that help in keeping track of fitness levels . It also uses GPS and Wi-Fi in the users’ iPhone to help track the distance.
4. The watch can serve as a walkie-talkie, a drawing pad, pulse monitor, calorie counter and activity tracker. It runs apps, takes dictation and interacts with the iPhone.
5. The watch supports Siri, an automated voice control system that you can interact with through spoken questions or commands.
6. The smartwatch comes in three variants - Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport; and Apple Watch Edition, which is made from 18-karat gold.

9. It comes with colourful wrist bands (pink, blue and white) and styles like hand-crafted gold buckle.
10.Tim Cook hailed it as the most “personal device we have ever created.”

Apple announces record-breaking four million pre-orders for the new iPhone 6 in just 24 hours

Winning: Apple sold four million iPhone 6 models in just 24 hours

Demand is once again outweighing supply at Apple, with the company reporting more than four million pre-orders of its new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in 24 hours, exceeding its initial pre-order supply.
The number of orders, which doubled the 2012 record set by the iPhone 5 when it sold two million models in its first 24 hours, even caused the Apple site to crash last week.
If they build it, consumers will buy.

Customers who pre-ordered can expect to receive their new phone as early as Friday, though some will have to wait until October to finally get their hands on the latest Apple model.
