Previous IPL Winners:
- 1st IPL ( 2008 ) – Rajasthan Royals ( RR vs CSK )
- 2nd IPL ( 2009 ) – Deccan Chargers ( DC vs RC )
- 3rd IPL ( 2010 ) – Chennai Super Kings ( CSK vs MI )
- 4th IPL ( 2011 ) – Chennai Super Kings ( CSK vs RCB )
- 5th IPL ( 2012 ) – Kolkata Knight Riders ( CSK vs KKR )
- 6th IPL ( 2013 ) – Mumbai Indians ( CSK vs MI)
A look at the 8 Teams
Mumbai Indians
will mark the start of an era without Sachin Tendulkar, who may not have been their most coveted match-winner, but remained a heavy scorer throughout - his 2334 runs from 78 games is the highest for the side
The Defending Champions Mumbai Indians roped in Michael Hussey, the surprise exclusion from Chennai Super Kings despite bagging the Orange Cap last year
If Hussey leads MI's batting the way he did for Chennai and Lasith Malinga deals those lethal blows with the ball, the Mumbai Indians could almost be invincible for the second year on the trot.
