Eden Hazard has been rewarded for his fine season at Chelsea by scooping the Young Player of the Year award.
The
Belgium international, absent for Chelsea's 2-0 victory over Liverpool
on Sunday due to injury, has been in blistering form for the Blues this
term and came out on top ahead of Liverpool pair Raheem Sterling and
Daniel Sturridge, Everton's Ross Barkley, Arsenal midfielder Aaron
Ramsey and Southampton left back Luke Shaw.
Eden Hazard, who joined the club from Lille in a £32million deal in 2012, has scored 17 goals in 48 appearances for the Blues this term.
The 23-year-old frontman scored a stunning hat-trick against Newcastle in February and also scored vital goals against Arsenal, Tottenham and title rivals Liverpool.
