Novak Djokovic was the defending champion, but lost to Roger Federer  in the SF's

Stansislas Wawrinka(Swiss)won his first Masters 1000 title, defeating Roger Federer in the final, 4–6, 7–6^(7–5), 6–2.

Julien Benneteau played alongside Edouard Roger Vasselin but lost to Bob and Mike Bryan in the QF's. Nenad Zimonjić teamed up with Daniel Nestor  but lost to the Bob and Mike Bryan in the SF's
