LPG Subsidy Directly in Bank Accounts From Today in 18 Districts -June 01,2013

Starting today cooking gas (LPG) consumers in 18 districts will get Rs. 435 in their bank accounts when they book an LPG cylinder as the government rolls out its ambitious direct benefit transfer (DBT) programme to cut its fuel subsidy.

The 18 districts where the DBT for LPG is being launched from June 1 include -

5)Ranga Reddy

6)Diu in Daman and 

7)Diu; North Goa

8)Bilaspur

9)Hamirpur

10) Una

in Himachal Pradesh

13)Wayand 

 in Kerala

14)Wardha in Maharasthra

15) Pondicherry

16)SBS Nagar/Nawanshahar in Punjab and 

17)East Nimar (Khandwa) and
