Priya Sachan,first and only woman train operator for Gurgaon's Rapid Metro

Priya Sachan(21)is the first and only woman among 50 train operators and station managers for Gurgaon's Rapid Metro project.
At a time when women's safety across the country has become a cause for concern, Priya Sachan is leading by example. 
Priya Sachan's family hails from the small town of Akbarpur in Uttar Pradesh and she moved to Delhi three years ago for studies.
For Rapid Metro, hiring a woman operator is a moment of pride. But for Priya, 
"A woman operator being at the helm will instill a sense of security and faith in the women. I think women will feel safer now," she says.
