Santosh Sivan's Urumi' is a period drama, that stars Prithviraj, Genelia D'Souza Prabhu Deva, Nithya Menon, Vidya Balan, Arya and Tabu. The film has been shot in Kerala and the forests of Malshej Ghat in Maharashtra.The film is spread between the second and third visit of Vasco da Gama to India and chronicles a varied version of how Gama could have met a bloody death in AD 1524.
