National Broadcasting Company (NBC) formed in 1926 by the Radio Corporation of America(RCA), NBC was the first major broadcast network in USA.General Electric owned RCA and NBC until 1930.In 1930, General Electric was compelled by antitrust charges to divest itself of RCA, which it had founded.
NBC introduce all-electronic television to the public at the 1939–40at the NY World's Fair and US President Franklin D Roosevelt appeared at the fair, before the NBC cameras, becoming the first U.S. president to appear on television on April 30, 1939.
