L Balaji picked up his and IPL’s very first hat trick in IPL season against Kings Xi Punjab (KXIP). On may 10, 2008 at M.A Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. CSK and KXIP played a match. Where in first inning CSK scored 181-4 (20 overs) instead of it KXIP could manage 163-9 (20 overs) and lost the match by 18 runs.

18) Sam Curran(KXIP) Vs Delhi Capitals in 2019
Kings XI Punjab’s player Sam Curran took
a hat-trick against Delhi Capitals in IPL 2019 to bring a dramatic
victory for his team by 14 runs. On the last ball of 18th over, Curran
dismissed Harshal Patel. When he came to bowl the 20th over, Delhi
Capitals need 15 runs for victory. Curran dismissed the last two batsmen
of Delhi Capitals, Kagiso Rabada and Sandeep Lamichhane, on the first
two balls of his over bagging a hat-trick.
