2019 Indian Premier League(IPL)Season 12 Match 09 Kings XI Punjab Vs Mumbai Indians @ Mohali Saturday March 30,2019

KXIP Vs MI Head-to-Head in IPL

The 9th match is scheduled to be played between Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians, with both the teams winning one game out of the two that they have played so far.
Kings XI Punjab started their campaign off with a thrilling win over Rajasthan Royals, a game that was also marked by a controversial mankad incident by Punjab skipper Ravichandran Ashwin. However, Punjab fell short when they faced Kolkata Knight Riders, losing by 28 runs thanks to a superb blitz by Andre Russell.
On the other hand, Mumbai Indians started their season on a losing note, defeated by a reshaped Delhi Capitals side in only the 2nd game of the season. Albeit, they saw their first win after edging Royal Challengers Bangalore in a close contest, winning the game by just 6 runs.
Both Kings XI and Mumbai Indians could not qualify for the play-offs last season and have started the season rather inconsistently. The two teams will be hoping they can be more consistent and get off to a good start to this campaign.
Looking into the head-to-head statistics between the two sides, there is not much that separates the two franchises. Despite Mumbai Indians prevailing over Kings XI Punjab two times last season, the overall statistics between the two teams are pretty even.
