2014 Lok Sabha Election - Telangana to go for polls on April 30; Seemandhra on May 7,2014










 The Election Commission of India(ECI)have announced on Wednesday March 05,2014 a 9-phase polling for the 16th Lok Sabha Election scheduled to be held between April 07 -May 12,2014



Andhra Pradesh will go for 2-two phase polls on April 30 and May 7,2014 for all the 294 Assembly and 42 parliamentary constituencies.


Of this, elections to 17 Lok Sabha constituencies in Telangana will be held on April 30 and remaining 25 in residual Andhra Pradesh would go to elections on May 7,2014

The 119 Assembly segments in Telangana and 269 in Seemandhra are going to polls simultaneously with the parliamentary elections on April 30 and 17,2014

Counting of votes across the country would be taken up on May 16 on a single day.
