Sudarsan used about 1000 tonnes of sand mixed with coloured sand in the statue which comprised the sculptor of Lord Jesus, Mother Mary and Santa Claus.
Pattnaik, who was assisted by 25 of his students at the Sudarsan Sand Art Institute of Puri, took 3 days to build up the mammoth structure, which will be on display from December 24,2013 till January 1,2014
