Jiri Rusnok,Czech Prime Minister Resigns Tuesday Aug 13,2013

The Czech government led by PM Jiri Rusnok has handed in its resignation on Tuesday Aug 13,2013 after failing to win the confidence of parliament.
The move paves the way for an early election, likely to be held by October 2013

Czech President Milos Zeman accepted the resignation and said Rusnok, an economist, would stay on in a caretaker capacity "until the formation of a new government which I hope will come from a free election".

Note
Czech President Milos Zeman has appointed Jiri Rusnok as the prime minister on Tuesday June 25,2013 after his predecessor,Petr Necas, resigned over a bribery scandal involving a close aide

Ex-PM Petr Necas quit last week when prosecutors charged his chief of staff with corruption and abuse of power.

In the 200-seat lower house of Parliament, Jiri Rusnok lost the vote of confidence 100 to 93. Seven members were not present during the vote on Wednesday Aug 7,2013
