Heather Watson, British Tennis Player

Heather Miriam Watson(DOB May 19,1992)is a British Female Tennis Player and the British No 1.On July 16,2012, HeatherWatson became for the first time the top-ranked British senior woman player on the WTA rankings, overtaking Anne Keothayong .She is currently ranked in the top 50 in the world.

In her junior career, Heather Watson won the US Open( first Briton to win the US Open girls' singles title) and Gold at the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games

On October 14, 2012, Heather Watson won her first WTA singles title defeating Chang Kai-chen(Taiwan)in the Japan Open
