PFA Players' Player of the Year


The Professional Footballers'Association Players(PFA) 'Player of the Year' is an annual award given to the player who is adjudged to have been the best of the year in English Football

The award has been presented since the 1973-74 season and the winner is chosen by a vote amongst the members of the players Trade Union,PFA

As of 2013 -
  •  Mark Hughes1988-89 and 1990-91
  • Alan Shearer 194-94 and 1996-97
  • Thierry Henry 2002-03 and 2003-04
  • Cristiano Ronaldo 2006-07 and 2007-08
  • Gareth Bale 2010-11 and 2012-13
have won the award twice and

Thierry Henry(2002-03 and 2003-04) and Cristiano Ronaldo(2006-07 and 2007-08) have won the award in consecutive seasons

Winner of the PFA Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year, Gareth Bale during the 2013 PFA Player of the Year Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
