Diagnosed with lung cancer, Yuvraj Singh is undergoing treatment in the United States, with the tumour reportedly showing signs of malignancy.Yuvraj Singh is undergoing chemotherapy in the United States to treat a cancerous growth near his lungs.The growth was earlier thought to be benign, but has now been diagnosed as malignant.
Going by the line of treatment he is receiving, doctors here said Yuvraj was likely suffering from a rare condition called lung seminoma, in which chances of recovery are more than 95%. This condition has no relation to excessive smoking or alcoholism.
Yuvraj has been in the US since January 26,2012 for chemotherapy at Cancer Research Institute, Boston.
