Chasing an improbably target of 399 for victory, Australia were rattled by the pace trio of Jasprit Bumrah (2/53), Mohammed Shami (2/71) and Ishant Sharma (1/37) while Ravindra Jadeja also chipped in with three wickets to move the visitors within touching distance of victory.
It was only Pat Cummins' fighting half-century which denied India's victory on Day 4 Saturday Dec 29,2018 as Australia were 258/8 with Pat Cummins 61* and Nathan Lyon 06 at close of play with still 141 Runs for victory on Day 05 sunday Dec 30,2018
