Countries That Drink The Most Beer

Moldova,the former Soviet republic has the highest per person alcohol consumption of 17.4 litres every year.

That’s the same as 535 bottles of  beer — assuming 5% alcohol content and 650ml volume — or three bottles every two days.

Other heavy-drinking countries are also part of the erstwhile Soviet Union and the Soviet bloc, but even the UK and France average about a bottle a day.
