Superstar Rajinikanth addressed fans in Chennai on Monday morning May 15,2017 to thank them for their support and clear the air about his role in Indian politics.
Refuting rumours about entering the political field, Rajini, while addressing a large gathering clarified that he doesn’t intend to join politics. He said that political parties often seek vote bank by using his name but he dosn’t supported anyone from the field of politics.
Superstar Rajinikanth also said that he stands by his decision to cancel his tour to Sri Lanka. He said that only after making a decision, one learns of the consequences. And if one foresees trouble, the best thing to do would be to avoid it.
Superstar Rajinikanth who has an ocean of fan following, also silenced his critics who believe that he makes headlines just ahead of the release of his films to garner publicity. He said that he is fortunate to be blessed by the love of his fans and hence he feels no need to seek attention by creating controversies.
Adding that at this moment, he is an actor and will act in films. Tomorrow, if he is given another task, he will do it honestly. He also said that he would keep wrong people away from him.
