Rising Pune Superigant (RPS)squad might be oozing with confidence after their impressive victory over Sunirsers Hyderabad (SRH)in the Indian Premier League encounter on Saturday May 06,2017, but they surely will miss one of the most prolific batsmen in their dug out as Faf du Plessis leaves the franchise tournament to join South African teammates ahead of an ODI series against England.
The Pune star, who made only two appearances for the squad this term, was devoid of opportunities to cement his place in the squad, having been able to bat in only one match in which he scored 8 runs, will no longer be available at skipper Steve Smith's disposal.
RPS presently have two more games to play in the league stage and they will look to win both in order to keep their place in the top two on the points table
