India's Medical tourists: 1 American for every 195 Bangladeshis

In 2015, more than two lakh people visited India for medical reasons. Of this, slightly over 51% were from Bangladesh. Other countries from which India gets a major chunk of its medical tourists are Afghanistan, Nigeria and Iraq. Very few medical tourists come from advanced economies
