UEFA Euro 2016 draw

 

 Hosts France were handed a favourable draw and will take on Albania, Romania and Switzerland in Group A 

England will face Wales, Slovakia and Russia in Group B

European Championship debutants Northern Ireland are in Group C with world champions Germany, Poland and Ukraine

European champions Spain to face Turkey, Czech Republic and Croatia in Group D

The Republic of Ireland are up against the world's top-ranked side Belgium, Italy and Sweden in Group E.  

Portugal, in Group F, were seen as arguably the weakest top seeds. Their rivals for a place in the last 16 are Hungary, Austria and Iceland, who are in their first ever major tournament
