South Korean girl group Oh My Gir denied entrance into the United States on suspicion of being prostitutes Wednesday Dec 09,2015

 

Eight members of a Korean pop group were detained and denied entrance to the United States and claim it is because officials thought that they were sex workers.

 

Oh My Girl, a Seoul-based girl group whose members range in age from 16 to 21, arrived at Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday  Dec 09,2015 and said they were held for more than 15 hours.

The young women traveled back to South Korea, and their management company said 'they were mistaken as ‘working women".
The band's management company said that the group was detained for 15 hours when trying to come to Los Angeles for a promotional event
