 John Beeden becomes the first person ever to row solo across the Pacific Ocean
A British father celebrated reaching Australia after a seven-month solo-row across the Pacific Ocean with his favourite biscuit
 After leaving San Francisco, in June, Mr Beeden he rowed south of Hawaii, through the South Sea Islands by the Coral Sea and past the Great Barrier Reef to Cairns.
Shortly after stepping off his boat in Cairns, Queensland, John Beeden(53)said he was most looking forward to 'a ginger nut biscuit and a shower'.
